Australian Light Horse

Australian Light Horse were mounted troops with characteristics of both cavalry and mounted infantry. They served during the Second Boer War and World War 1. The Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade at the Battle of Beershebain 1917 made what is the only successful Mounted Infantry charge (light horse is not considered Cavalry) in history.
